Window production workflow
Profile cutting to size
Frame and sash profiles are cut at 45° (or 90° for some types) with double head cutting machines that perform both cuts simultaneously on the same bar. For workshops with limited volumes, single head cutting machines offer flexibility on individual pieces. Accessories such as crossbars and handles are often cut with cutting centers that automate serial production.
Milling and drilling for hardware
Copy routers produce recesses for locks, cremone bolts and handles with repeatable precision. For higher volumes or more complex operations, CNC machining centers handle multiple operations on different faces without manual repositioning.
End preparation
End milling machines prepare the 45° or 90° end faces with a high-quality finish, ensuring precise angular joints without gaps.
Assembly and corner closing
Assembly benches provide a stable and ergonomic worktop for frame assembly. Crimping machines close the corners mechanically, while length stop systems ensure precise positioning before every cut.
Sizing your workshop
The minimum configuration for a window workshop includes a cutting machine, a copy router, an end milling machine and an assembly bench. As volume grows, the length stop system, CNC machining center and automatic cutting center are added. OMC offers a complete and modular range that grows with production needs.
